Strong contingent of Peterborough Nene Valley youngsters heading for Sefton

A lucky 13 Peterborough Nene Valley athletes will be competing for the Lincolnshire team at prestigious English Schools Cross Country Championships at Sefton Park on March 14.

The athletes heading to Liverpool next month are: Molly Peel (senior girls), Sam Hughes (intermediate boys), Flo Brill (intermediate girls), Aofie Glaswell (junior girls), Charlotte Cullen (junior girls), Sam Oakley (intermediate boys), Sam Staines (senior boys), Matt Dowling (senior boys), Johan Coughlan (junior boys), Harry Hewitt (intermediate boys), Edward Lindsell (junior boys), Ted Ash (junior boys) and Ellie Rainbow (intermediate girls).

Meanwhile, seven athletes have been selected to represent Cambridgeshire at the same event.

The magnificent seven are Kai Chilvers (intermediate boys), Dylan Tomaselli (intermediate boys), Ella Robinson (senior girls), Hannah Knight (senior girls), Chelsie Bole (intermediate girls), Owen Wilkinson (senior boys) and Katie Tasker (senior girls).

Junior girl Elizabeth Eames has been selected to represent Northamptonshire.
