Keep donating your clothes

An initiative to help clothe young people in the area has had a great start to its latest campaign but needs more donations.

Ella’s Projects is looking for donations of good quality, undamaged, clean children’s clothes for those aged five and below and any unopened bags of nappies of any size.

Project founder Mark Le Sage, who began the charity after donating his daughter Ella’s clothes, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the donations we have received so far but all of these have now been distributed in the South Holland area but there is still more we need to do.”

Donations can be dropped off at Tonic Health in Spalding and the Baytree cafe in Weston.

All the bags should be marked with a content label stating the age and sex the clothes are for.

Ella’s Project also had a boost thanks to a Christmas party.

Mark continued: “The project would also like to thank everyone who supported the Christmas party which raised just under £400.

“We’d like to say a big thank you to the South Holland Centre and Vikki Garner’s catering team for their support as well as local musical legends Zebra for their help.”
