Luke Pasqualino, who stars as D’Artagnan in the BBC’s swashbuckling Three Musketeers unveiled Image International’s new look interior.
The Spalding hair salon is owned by Luke’s father, Pep Pasqualino.
To celebrate more than 30 years in business in Spalding, salon owner Pep has just completed a major refit of his Red Lion Street premises.
Luke flew in from Prague, where he is currently filming the second series of the hit adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’s novel, to cut the ribbon for his dad. The opening ceremony was followed by an invitation-only VIP party.
Pep, a lead platform artist with global hair giant Paul Mitchell said: “ I wanted to take our affordable luxury customer service experience to a whole new level.
“Our updated look includes a new male grooming section, relaxing spa backwash area with feature ceiling, a new colour lounge complete with a bold hand-painted wall graphic and an airy, sophisticated main salon.”
Luke Pasqualino was a regular in the teenage drama television series Skins before winning starring roles in the Battlestar Galactica series and historical television drama The Borgias.
Luke said: “The relationship I have with my father is a huge thing for me – me and my dad get on like a house on fire, we are like best friends. I’m absolutely thrilled to be asked to launch his salon’s stunning new look. ”
Pep added: “The salon now boasts a new barber section with traditional chairs where we’re offering wet shaves and the very latest in men’s grooming.”
