A Spalding woman who organised a charity ball to help her through her battle with cancer has helped raise over £17,000.
Tina Rowe (41) put on the Boobie Ball at Springfields recently with the funds being split between Breast Cancer Care and Prostate Cancer UK.
Over 500 attended the event, including Emmerdale stars Bhasker Patel, Liam Fox and Jonny McPherson.
Guests enjoyed fantastic food and entertainment including from Booboynx as they raised thousands for the two charities.
Tina, who currently has the all clear from breast cancer, said: “I have received so much feedback saying it was the biggest and best ball to date.
The whole night was overwhelming and breathtaking – it was perfect.
“We hoped to make £10,000 so we could £5,000 to each charity, but we smashed that and raised £17,308.
“I feel I raised good awareness and that hopefully one day it will save a life!
“This has been the hardest thing I have ever had to pull together but by far the most rewarding.
“Thank you to everyone that played a part in The Boobie Ball 2019.”
