LETTERS – Fortunate to have MP

South Holland and the Deepings is very fortunate to have an MP of the quality, character and commitment of John Hayes.

He spoke for the people in the referendum by backing the leave campaign – when, having worked for David Cameron in No 10 Downing Street, it would have been much easier to keep quiet – and he has continued to be true to his principles since by backing whatever is needed to honour the referendum result.
