Spalding saluted current and past Armed Forces personnel in the town on Tuesday.
It’s Armed Forces Week which culminates in Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
But to show its appreciations for what they do Spalding organised its parade for midweek so as many of the serving forces could join the veterans in attending.
Representatives from all of the Armed Forces joined in saluting the Queen’s representative in the county, the Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, after a moving ceremony carried out by Reverend John Bennett.
It included a rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ sang by Craig Delaney and Adam Patman.
Choir St John also lent their singing voices entertaining the parade as it moved inside Spalding Parish Church.
Alan Canham of the Royal British Legion said: “It was an excellent event.
“Huge thanks go to Jan Whitbourn for organising it.”
