Man attempted to set home on fire

Police are investigating after a man appeared to deliberately set a house in Crowland alight in the middle of the night.

The incident happened at around 2.45am on Sunday, March 10.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “It was reported to us at 2.45am on March 10 that a man had attempted to deliberately ignite the front of a property in West Street.

“Some damage has been caused to the door.

“We are investigating this as arson and any witnesses should call 101 quoting the incident number 54 of March 10.
