A superb 91 break from Mick Cooper was the highlight of Monday night’s Spalding and District Billiards League action.
Cooper, who plays off an O190 handicap for Long Sutton, helped his side beat hosts Gosberton 7-0 and also pocketed smaller scorers of 41, 39 (twice) and 32.
Team-mate John Dawson (R30) also chipped in with a 38 break, while Joe Garland (R70) won the opening frame.
Meanwhile, leaders Holbeach A have reached 99 points despite going down 5-2 at home to Holbeach B. Tony Blanchard (R50) made an unfinished 20 break as he clinched the match by winning the final frame against Colin Dodd (R30), who made a 22 of his own.
Second-placed Crowland B failed to close the gap on the table-toppers as they lost 5-2 at home to Pyramid B.
Rob Childs (O260) starred with breaks of 67 and 59, but frame wins from Martin O’Connor (R20) and Darrell Read (R30) saw the Bourne side home.
The big winners of the week were Crowland A, who thumped hosts Pyramid A 7-0. Neil Burton (R60) made a 20 break in that one.
Meanwhile, Gosberton B beat Consti B 4-3 despite Mick Johnson’s (O170) breaks of 45 and 40, while Consti A saw off hosts Donington 5-2.
