Have Crafternoon tea at Ayscoughfee

Ayscoughfee Hall is offering a crafty break from the Christmas rush this afternoon (Thursday).

A Crafternoon tea is being held at the historic hall from 12.30pm to 3pm and will have a host of free craft activities, mince pies and tea and coffee, while aiming to raise awareness of mental health and well-being.

The event is for all ages and is being put on by South Holland District Council’s Community Development team. Donations to Mind will be welcome on the day.
Coun Gary Taylor, South Holland District Council portfolio holder for Communities and Facilities, said: “Christmas, is a time when it is particularly important for people to come together and celebrate.

“Nobody should have to face mental health alone and initiatives like this are so important to help raise awareness and give people a social outlet to share. It promises to be a brilliant afternoon.”
