Screws and nails have been deliberately spread on driveways to cause damage to tyres, police say.

Pc Tim Newell is investigating the case in Sutton St James.

Police said: “Residents from a number of properties in the Old Fendyke area have reported finding the screws on the ground in their driveways and at least one vehicle has sustained damage to a tyre.”

Local residents are being asked to be vigilant to suspicious behaviour and anyone with information should contact PC Newell by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 194 of June 22.
