Church set to celebrate 150 years

Holbeach St Marks Church is celebrating its 150th birthday with two days of celebration starting Friday (September 21).

The celebrations will be in full swing from noon to 5pm tomorrow and between 11am and 4pm on Saturday.

Among the attractions will be a chance to see the original registers and log book which will provide a glimpse into the history of the village and local families.

There will be special displays by the children of Holbeach St Marks Church of England Primary School.

Also on offer are teas, coffees, cakes, a plant stall, homemade and farm produce on offer for attendees to purchase.
