Spalding Water Polo came from behind to beat RAF Cranwell 18-12 in a frantic friendly clash.
Visitors Spalding were beaten all over the pool during the first two quarters and they trailed 6-2 after the first quarter and 9-5 at the half way point.
However, the Spalding lads had a brilliant third quarter, as two goals each from Jack Carpenter and youngster Calvin Wilson – making his full first team debut – meant they had a lead of 12-11 going into the final quarter.
The team kept their momentum and energy going in the last period of what proved an action-packed match, with a hat-trick of goals from Ben Marsters, taking his overall tally to five, securing the 18-12 win.
Tom Marsters (2) and Tim Shields got the other goals.
