A selection of textile artworks made by creative Holbeach residents has gone on display at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens.
The stunning textile panels produced last year, under the guidance of Fiona Guerney, by over 20 adults and 50 schoolchildren are now on display at Ayscoughfee in the main hallway.
A Cemetery Chapels Trust spokesman said: “The panels reflect aspects of the beauty and dignity of the Holbeach cemetery and its Victorian chapels, and will remain at Ayscoughfee until September.”
The Chapels Trust also recently welcomed 25 members of the Sutton Bridge U3A group to the cemetery.
A spokesman said: “They were told something of the history of the chapels and of the work undertaken in recent years by the trust.
“They enjoyed a fascinating cemetery trail, learning about the lives of people buried in the cemetery and their influence on Holbeach, particularly during the Victorian era.”
A ‘Tommy” statue was also recently erected in the cemetery and stands watch over the war graves.
