PRIDE AWARDS 2018: Featured nominee, Harold Payne

This week’s featured nominee is Mr Harold Payne of the Anglia Motel, Fleet.

The person who nominated Mr Payne wrote to say: “I feel that Mr Payne of Anglia Motel, off the A17 towards King’s Lynn, should be nominated and deserves to win a Pride of South Holland award because of the work he’s put in to help the Normandy veterans go to the beaches and to visit the graves of their old friends that died there during the Second World War.

“He also helps to collect for the injured soldiers of today.

“He collects money through collections, charity events and is also known to pay out of his own pocket.

“He’s very passionate about what he does and is doing for the local community.”
