The 40th Crowland Show proved one of the most popular in recent years, attracting more than 2,000 people.
Profits, often totalling around £1,500, are donated to community causes. This year a free ‘Party in the Park’ is being planned for September 8, 2pm-10pm at Snowden Field.
Crowland Show Committee deputy chairman Helen Turpin said: “We’d like to thank all our volunteers and sponsors. Without them this wouldn’t happen.”
Attractions included a vintage car, tractor and agricultural machinery display and dog agility. There was also a Women’s Institute tent, dog show, horse show, craft and food stalls.
The winner of the vintage tractors was Norman Issitt. A 1934 Austin won the classic car prize. The committee has asked the owner to get in touch with his details.
