Pride crew jet sprays skate park

The Pride in South Holland Crew – the District Council’s team that tackles problem areas and ‘grot spots’ – recently used a graffiti-busting combination of spray-paint removing compound and a portable high-pressure jet wash to clean up vandalism at Spalding skate park.

Coun Roger Gambba-Jones, South Holland District Council Portfolio Holder for Place, said: “The council has provided extra resources to create a dedicated Pride in South Holland Team.

“This dedicated team is able to deal with the more time-consuming issues that would otherwise Impact on the day-to-day work of our small street cleansing team.

“They also respond to specific issues with council owned areas, highlighted by parish councils and members of the public.”

Residents can report areas for attention on the council’s Street Care and Cleansing page: https://www.sholland.gov.uk/article/5186/Street-Care-Cleansing
