Air ambulance attends Spalding car and cyclist collision

A cyclist has been hospitalised following a collision with a car in Spalding.

Police said around 10am on Sunday morning, a Ford Mondeo collided with a cyclist at the junction of Station Street and Sheep Market.

A spokesman for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance said: “Our critical care crew treated one patient suffering from a leg injury and accompanied them to Peterborough City Hospital in a land ambulance.”

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses, asking anyone who might have information to call 101, quoting incident 112 of 17/12.
