Leaders Moulton Harrox showed their ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division title credentials on Saturday as they recovered from their first defeat of the campaign.
Strikes from Louis Steadman and Joe Townsend earned hosts Harrox a 2-0 triumph over Deeping Rangers Reserves at Broad Lane.
That victory keeps them two points clear of second-placed Peterborough Sports Reserves ahead of this Saturday’s trip to rock-bottom Langtoft United (2pm).
Elsewhere in the top flight, Holbeach United Reserves picked up a fine 2-0 victory at high-flying Stamford Lions to do Harrox a big favour.
Callum Simmonds and Joe Fowler notched for Phil Barnes’ side at the Borderville Sports Centre 3G as the Tigers climbed into the top ten.
Sutton Bridge United couldn’t make it a South Holland clean-sweep in the Premier Division, however, as they went down 4-0 at champions Peterborough Sports Reserves.
In Division One, Matty Oliver netted twice as Long Sutton Athletic romped to a 5-1 home win over Ramsey Town.
Billy Radeloff, Damien Ramm and Brad Murrell got the other goals for Omar Joof’s high-flying Magpies.
However, Tydd St Mary saw their fine recent run of form ended by a surprise 3-1 home humbling against Wittering Harriers.
Jake Clitheroe’s strike was scant consolation for the Saints, who stay sixth.
At the other end of the table, Crowland Town earned a welcome 4-2 home victory over Uppingham Town.
Fellow Division One side Moulton Harrox Reserves won 2-1 at FC Parson Drove to progress in the FA Challenge Cup.
Bede Finnigan and Martin Sandall got the goals for Kev Nottingham’s charges, cancelling out Matty Cawthorn’s opener.
In Division Two, Spalding Town enjoyed a 4-2 win at Stamford Lions Reserves thanks to goals from Jamie Cartlidge (2), Tom Coote and Nicky Haw.
Whaplode Drove are third in Division Three, meanwhile, after strikes from James Asher and Danny Firth secured a 2-2 draw at Farcet United.
Holbeach Bank lost 6-2 at Premiair despite strikes from George Leatherland and Sam Thompson.
