Promotion-chasing Sutton Bridge United picked up an important 3-2 victory at Peterborough Polonia in ChromaSport PDFL Division One on Saturday.

They are now seven points clear of third-placed Warboys Town, who do have four games in hand.

Elsewhere in Division One, basement boys Spalding United slumped to a 7-2 reverse at Oundle Town as relegation looms.

Also beaten were Tydd St Mary, who went down 3-0 against leaders Whittlesey Athletic A at Memorial Park.
