Saturday football: Four-some Tulips and Tigers, Pinchbeck defeat rivals to reach final

Both Spalding United and Holbeach United hit four goals in impressive away wins on Saturday, while Pinchbeck United reached another cup final.

Spalding were 4-0 winners at Leek Town in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South, with Brad Wells (25), Nathan Whitehead (39), Jordan Lemon (45) and Cenk Acar (45) all netting before half time.

The win keeps the Tulips third and very much in the driving seat to clinch a home play-off draw, with the three sides directly below them all failing to win.

Holbeach, meanwhile, picked up a 4-2 win at Harborough Town in the ChromaSport UCL.

Two Ollie Maltby goals fired Pinchbeck United into the PFA Senior Cup final as they beat PDFL Premier Division leaders Peterborough Sports Reserves 2-1 at Knight Street to keep their treble dream alive.

In the PDFL Premier Division, Moulton Harrox beat hosts Stilton United 5-1 to go second, with Joe Townsend (2), Marcus Parry, Jake Cawthorne and sub Andy Law all on target.
