Plans in for 135 new homes in Holbeach and Gosberton

Planning applications have been submitted for a total of 135 homes on two sites, in Holbeach and Gosberton.

A development of 55 new homes is proposed on farm land behind 50 Fleet Road, Holbeach, which would be demolished to create access.

An outline planning application submitted to South Holland district Council by the owner of the house, Mr T Morriss, said: “This site is not within the existing or emerging local plan, but is considered to be in a sustainable location.”

A landowner is seeking permission for 80 homes to be built on a field next to York Gardens, Gosberton.

A planning application by D and F Casswell and F Rozier submitted to the council says: “The site is bounded on three sides by established residential areas.
“There is great demand for housing, the size and location of the site means that a broad range of property types and sizes can be accommodated and in turn the development will bring new vitality to the area.”
