More youngsters benefiting from Spalding beerfest profits

Members of Spalding Round Table and Spalding Ladies’ Circle have been visiting some of the good causes helped with profits from their first beerfest.

The event in May generated more than £15,000 to be distributed to youth groups and organisations in the local community.

As part of the latest donations, Spalding Gymnastic Academy received £1,175 towards mats for a London Olympics 2012 beam it managed to get. Spalding United Orange Under-nines got a sponsored kit and dance group Diamondz DG have been kitted out with hoodies.

Round Table and Ladies’ Circle said: “It’s great being able to see the money put to such good uses.”
