WIN entry or Family Festival passes to Bear Grylls Survival Race

Fancy testing yours or your family’s techniques in a race and challenges designed by survival expert Bear Grylls and his team?

The first of four Bear Grylls Survival Races this year is on Saturday, August 20, at Wimpole Estate in Royston (eight miles from Cambridge).

We’ve teamed up with the organisers to offer five fabulous prizes.
There’s a pair of race tickets (worth upto £150) to any of the four events.
Or if spectating and a little dabble is more your thing, we also have four BG Family Festival passes (each pass admits upto six people).

The children’s races are open to 4 to 13-year-olds. Participants will make their way through the jungle, desert, mountains and arctic all in one course!

The adults have two courses to choose from.
The 5km course has 20+ obstacles and two or more BG Survival Challenges – taking you to new environments and survival situations in the themed survival zones.
The 10km course has 35+ natural and purpose-built obstacles and four or more unique BG Survival Challenges.
The size and complexity of the flagship obstacles – the Big Four (presented by partners Morgan Lovell and Overbury, part of the Morgan Sindell Group) – have never been seen before.

The Family Festival has a bungee jump, Segway track, parajet flying shows, fire lighting, air rifle shooting, waterzorbing, falconry flying, bushgrubs eating challenges, live music, food and bars.

For your chance to win one of the five prizes, just tell us which famous survival expert is heading up the series of races. Easy, isn’t it?

Send your answer, name, address and daytime contact number via email to [email protected] or post to Bear Grylls competition, The Spalding and South Holland Voice, 14-16 Winsover Road, Spalding PE11 1EJ.
The closing point is noon on Friday, August 19, to enable prizewinners to have the option to attend Saturday’s event. Winners will be issued a code to book the prize tickets online.

Other Survival Races are at Manchester, Edinburgh and London. See www.beargryllssurvivalrace.com.
