Music and fun for all at annual Party in the Park

Bakkavor’s annual Party in the Park returns on Saturday for an evening of music and fun.

The event takes place at Spalding’s Springfields Events Centre from 6pm.

Bakkavor is celebrating its 30th anniversary and entertainment has been lined up to mark all three decades, starting with the 80s Experience Tribute Band. This will be followed by a Take That tribute band (Rule the World) and One Direction Experience (tribute band).

The evening will be compered by comedian Ali Jay and other performances will come from Spalding Town Centre Manager Dennis Hannant, who will sing the hits of Neil Diamond, and the winner of Bakkavor’s Got Talent (which will be contested earlier in the day).

There will be a funfair until 9pm and the event ends at 11pm with a firework finale.

Food and drink will be available to buy at the venue or you can take a picnic.

Tickets are available from the South Holland Centre at www.southhollandcentre.co.uk

Ticket prices are adults £5, children (u16) £2, family (two adults, three children) £15, under twos go free. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
