The South Holland and the Deepings branch of UKIP held the second of its “Leave the EU” campaign meetings at The Punchbowl in Spalding.
The party’s spokesman on agriculture and the environment, Stuart Agnew, gave an address.
A branch spokesman said: “His mastery of the brief shone through, no doubt helped by a lifetime’s experience as a Norfolk farmer.
“An enthusiastic audience comprised of branch members and supporters from the general public took full advantage of the opportunity to ask questions.
“An informal discussion followed on the failings of the EU and the many reasons why this country would be safer and better off outside this undemocratic institution.”
