A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found at a Spalding property.
Lincolnshire Police say they were called to an address in Gaunt Close at 8.34pm last night (Monday, November 2).
A woman in her 50s was found dead at the scene and a 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder.
Detective chief inspector Claire Rimmer said: “We are in the very early stages of our investigation and would ask people not to speculate on circumstances.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while we carry out our enquiries.
“We do not believe there to be any wider threat to the community and would ask anyone with information to contact us by calling 101, quoting Incident 432 of 2 November.”
