Holbeach United were taken apart by Thurlow Nunn Division One North leaders Holland at Carter’s Park on Saturday.
Two quick-fire goals put the Essex visitors ahead, although the Tigers raised hopes for a second-half revival when they pulled a goal back before half-time.
However, it was not to be as Holland added three more goals to complete a comprehensive victory.
It was the first of four consecutive home games for Holbeach, who are offering fans the chance to see their next three games for the price of two.
Saturday’s league encounter against Dussindale Rovers is followed by a county cup clash with Pinchbeck United on Tuesday, before Diss Town visit on Saturday 17.
Anyone attending the first two games will get free entry to the third.
☐ Ava Smith’s goal on the stroke of half-time saw Holbeach United earn their first point in Division One of the Cambridgeshire Women’s League.
After opening with two defeats, they drew 1-1 at Royston Town Development to get their season up and running.
