Long Sutton Men worked hard to get back into their Friday evening encounter at Wisbech Town in East Men’s League Division Two North West but went down 3-2.
They were 3-0 adrift before Joshua Fyson and Luke Proctor scored to raise their hopes.
Alex Wilkinson and Luke Lovegrove were on target to earn Long Sutton Seconds all the Division 4NW points with a 2-1 win against Cambridge City Fifths.
Sutton’s third team were 3-2 winners at Bourne Deeping Fifths in Division 6NW. Hannah Baker grabbed a hat-trick as Long Sutton romped to a 5-2 win against Cambridge Nomads Seconds in Women’s East League Division Three North West.
Amber Jones and Jess Burton got the other goals.
In Division 4NW, Sutton Seconds were beaten 2-0 at their Ely City counterparts.
