Spalding People’s Parade

Spalding’s People’s Parade takes place on Sunday offering fun for all the family.

The free event runs from 11am to 5pm at the Sir John Gleed School and as well as the parade itself, attractions include children’s funfair rides, a variety of live music and a range of craft stalls.

The parade starts at 1pm and goes along Halmer Gardens, Maple Grove, Albert Street, High Street, Churchgate, Love Lane, Halmergate and Neville Avenue.

Chairman Ian Smee said: “John Hayes will be judging the trolley carts this year and presenting the entrants with a one, two or three star certificate depending on their appearance.”

There will also be food stalls, children’s games and ice creams available throughout the day.
