More servings of screw brew

A Spalding man’s initiative to help mental health for fellow former and current prison guards has proved such a success it is to increase its meetings.

Mark Le Sage set up The Big Screw Brew after meeting up with a former colleague last year.

It encouraged colleagues and former prison workers to meet up every other month for a refreshment.

Now though Mark says he’s looking to hold the local meet up and encourage others to do it every month.

“It was been so positive and effective in the way that it has improved the well being of those attending that they have asked me to set up monthly meetings,” he said.

The nearest one to Spalding will take place at The Sugar Mill in Bourne on the last Friday of every month.

The next one will be 11am on Friday, January 30.
