Ben Wilson managed another points finish at round two of the British Superbike Championship over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Kirton racer was 15th in the first race at Oulton Park, before slipping back to 16th in the second.
That leaves the Gearlink Kawasaki ace tenth in the overall rider standings.
Wilson started the first 18-lap race from a seventh row grid position after missing out on a place in the second phase of qualifying. In the first 18-lap race he got away to his usual good start and quickly made up ground to 16th place.
After a safety car spell he eventually reached a race high of 13th, before falling back to 15th.
Starting race two from the sixth row, Wilson got another good start and was up to 15th on the first lap. He made progress up to 12th on lap three but dropped off the pace and fell back to 16th.
Wilson said: “The team have worked so hard again this weekend and we have managed to iron out quite a lot of problems, but it is still early days and we still have a way to go. But I managed to complete both races and add to my points tally so that’s promising.”
The next round is at Snetterton on June 15.
