LETTERS – Come and try our club

We recently reformed our backgammon club in Crowland and now meet every Thursday, 2pm until 5pm at the Crowland Hub (Library) on Hall Street.

We have been established for nearly two years now and by meeting on a Thursday, this has increased our membership and added interest regarding the game of backgammon.

We welcome new players and people who are interested in learning the game, as we have experienced players that can teach you the game.

I am relatively new to the game, but now a worthy opponent and even entered a national tournament along with other new members.

The game is part tactical and part luck, but good for the mindset.

Come and give it a try, a warm welcome awaits.
