Firefighters bring the scares

Firefighters helped provide the scares in Holbeach for Halloween.

The local crew, with help from Long Sutton, turned their base into a scary attraction for one night only and raised nearly £800 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

The event included a light show with spooky effects and music with candy floss, ice cream, milkshakes and drinks included in the entrance fee.

A spokesman said: “Around 500 locals attended and a great time was had by all.

“All thanks go to the hard work and effort put in by the crews at both stations.”
