Rourke and Worrall sew up first win of season

Spalding Ladies 2s 2 March Town 1s 0
Spalding secured their first three points of the Women’s East League Division Three North West season with a confident victory.
Spalding dominated possession and created multiple chances.
Their efforts paid off after 28 minutes when they won a short corner and Grace Rourke fired a low slap into the bottom corner.
They came out fighting in the second half and a powerful strike from Rourke rattled the crossbar before Vicky Worrall converted the second goal from a short corner.
Camille Rogers was player of the match.

Spalding were caught snoozing when they conceded an early goal in their Division Five North West trip to Cambridgeshire.
That woke them up and relentless attacking efforts were rewarded when Kelly Tizzano smashed a goal past the Ely goalkeeper.
The hosts were left stumped when a beautiful ball from Isla Worrall found Eloise Hull in the D and she scored a great goal after dribbling past defenders into the D and slapping the ball into the bottom corner.
Spalding carried on their attacking efforts in the second half, but could not finish their opportunities.
A solid defensive effort, led by player of the match Lilly Hooker kept Ely at bay as Spalding held on to stay top of the table.
