Pupils recognised for determination

Youngsters at South Holland schools have been recognised for their determination and perseverance thanks to Spalding Lions.

During the last week of term, members of Spalding Lions Club visited local schools to present the Walk Tall awards.

The winners are chosen by teachers to recognise determination and perseverance.

Certificates and gift tokens are presented by Spalding Lions Club.

Lion President Julie Grant said: “We would like to thank all the schools who took part in the Walk Tall scheme and for welcoming Lions into the school to make some of the presentations.”

*St Norbet’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, Spalding.
