Leaders slip up to open door to Drove and Newton

It is all to play for at the top of the Sutton Bridge Banks Rose Bowl League.
Leaders March Town slumped to a shock 4½-1½ defeat at home to struggling Black Cats, allowing Parson Drove and Newton to close the gap.
March were only one behind on points at
45-46 but the share saw an emphatic away victory.
Week nine’s fixtures paired the second and third-placed teams and a close encounter saw Drove emerge 3½-2½ victors (70-60) winners at Newton.
The day’s other match saw Sutton Bridge pull away from the foot of the table with a 5-1 (77-62) victory against Emneth.
