Archers from Silver Spoon Bowmen made the long trek up the county to Kirton Lindsey Archers, for the annual County Outdoor Championships.
Shooting in a gusting crosswind that gradually increased in strength during the morning, shooting conditions were challenging. As conditions deteriorated further the judges decided to abandon the competition on safety grounds. Scores were counted to that point.
It left Silver Spoon Bowmen with three county champions – Sam Newton, Senior Gent Recurve; Amy Gott, Senior Lady Recurve; and Jacob Mumby Croft, Junior Boy Recurve.
A team consisting of Newton, Gott, Mumby Croft and Jessica Earth took the Team Trophy.
Other minor medals were won by Lynn Fisher, Roger Sale and Zara Fowler.
