Car fire led to Pinchbeck ‘explosion’

Residents in West Pinchbeck were surprised by an explosion on Sunday night (June 29).

It related to a vehicle fire report shortly before midnight on Glenside South.

One eyewitness said they heard an explosion and saw flames.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “One crew from Spalding attended and used two hose reels and breathing apparatus.”
