Laurel laughs via Hardy fans

The Spalding branch of the Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society, aka The Sons of The Desert, are putting on free showings of some of the duo’s films.

The first event is at The Spalding Consti Club in Broad Street on March 20 from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
Shows will be quarterly with the following event at the same time and location on June 19.
Further shows will be in September and December.
A spokesman for The Sons of the Desert said: “Enjoy an evening of fun and laughter.
“These are family friendly film shows and all are welcome.”
