Supermarket giant Aldi is set to open its new store on Thursday, January 30.
The new shop will be open to customers from 8am and is calling on local charities and food banks are set to benefit.
They are being asked to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform.
Surplus food and perishable products, including baked goods, fruit and vegetables, can be collected seven days a week.
Store manager Ian Brown said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to the new store in Holbeach. It’s set to be a special day and having Olympic rower Morgan Bolding join us will make it a morning to remember.”
Morgan is a double world champion in the men’s eight as well as a gold medal winner from Paris last year, and he will be cutting the ribbon to officially open the supermarket.
“I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store; it will be great to chat to customers and it’s lovely way for me to thank Team Aldi for its support of Team GB,” he said.

The new store will be open from Monday to Saturday 8am to 10pm and also on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
