GALLERY – Hall ‘Lotta Love’ for new festival

The first running of a new music festival in Spalding was so successful that a repeat performance will take place next year.

AyscoughFest saw several bands playing throughout Saturday afternoon in the Ayscoughfee Hall Gardens.
Hundreds attended the free event put on by the Spalding Town Forum in association with Ayscoughfee and South Holland District Council.
Chief organiser district councillor Mark Le Sage said the event is already to return on July 26 next.
“It was a fantastic day,” he said. “It all came from a conversation with Ayscoughfee Hall’s Julia Knight back in June 2023.
“I’m very proud of how it all went and the wonderful team that put it all together and I am grateful to every single one of them.
“A big thank you to all our volunteers who were a well-oiled machine and kept everything going in the background including those at Cosmic Sound, the bands, artists and musicians who gave up their time to support this brilliant new event for the community and to the community who came out and supported the event and made it such a very special day for everybody.
“Ayscoughfest is a family friendly, fun, alcohol-free event and I’m looking forward to July 26 next year, when opening the event will be local legend, singer guitarist Chris Martin who always gets the party started.”
