UAH victorious in The Games

A team from University Academy Holbeach proved victorious in Boston College’s The Games.

The Games is an inter-school competition involving secondary schools from around the county competing against each other in a variety of practical sporting activities.

The top two boys and two girls from each school were determined at heats and these finalists then competed for individual titles as well as the Target Team Award, awarded to the overall winning school.

Triathlete Abi Schofield attended to give encouragement throughout the day and to speak to them about her career, before presenting the awards.

Making an amazing appearance this year, University Academy Holbeach stole the title from Boston High School.

The top six winners took home their trophies and medals as well as an abundance of prizes, including swim passes, England Rugby shirts, Boston United match tickets and Sports Direct vouchers.
