LETTERS – Come and say goodbye

This is an invitation for the 11 other regular customers who visit Barclays Bank weekly to gather to thank the wonderful staff and say goodbye.
I was not surprised that Barclays’ Spalding branch is closing.
Having been a customer since student days, it is a sad reminder that life is changing, but now so much faster.
The computer reigns supreme but hopefully a fight back to keep money in our pockets in vitally important. Money saving experts state it is the very best way to budget rather than chip and pin.
Small businesses are penalised with charges for a card machine, charity collectors suffer not getting a spare bob, please listen people in charge!
The letter informing me from Barclays had the startling fact only 12 customers visit the bank regularly.
I find this remarkable since queues are often lengthy.
However should the others wish to say farewell at 11am on May 10, it would be lovely.
