A not for profit group that celebrates singing is hosting a special event in Spalding with an internationally renowned singer.
Dave Camlin will be featuring alongside some brilliant local voices courtesy of soundLINCS at the mass harmony singing at Broad Street Methodist Church on Saturday March 9.
A spokesman for soundLincs said: “Led by inspiring community singing leader, Dave Camlin, and in partnership with Spalding Community Choir, this event is open to anyone who enjoys singing in a relaxed, fun and friendly environment.
“We are delighted to be welcoming the nationally and internationally renowned singer, composer, researcher and educator, Dave Camlin to share his expertise and lead the sessions of mass harmony singing.
“In this workshop, we’ll explore how our singing voices can help us connect: to ourselves, to each other and to the world around us. No previous experience necessary, and learning repertoire mainly by ear, so no need to be able to read music.
“Bring your voice in whatever condition you find it, and together we’ll weave a temporary republic of harmony in the air!
Doors open at 9.30am for refreshments.
The event starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
There will be an opportunity for choirs and singing groups to share their songs with a busk in the town centre during the lunch break.
