LETTER: Enough is enough

We did not want or need Nisa on such a busy junction. Five years on it’s still an eyesore and traffic has doubled in that time.

Now we are landed with another store next door. Both have been granted alcohol licenses.

We have two very good shops in this area both selling alcohol and Aldi within walking distance. This other shop has zigzags in front of it for the safety of people using the crossing.

Where are they going to park? Vehicles are now parked both sides along Bourne Road by the vets and dentist to Monkshouse traffic lights. The same the other way along Winsover Road, St John’s Road and Park Road.

So no because of traffic chaos plus trains. No more drink licenses in our small town. Enough is enough. Four in this small area – ridiculous!
