Pub toasts charity fundraising

Regulars at a Spalding pub have donated £4,000 to charity thanks to a host of events.

Staff and customers at The Lincoln Arms on Bridge Street have been raising money for Macmillan UK via the likes of golf and darts events plus quizzes.
And members of the Spalding and Holbeach branch of Macmillan recently went to the pub to receive a cheque.
Landlord Steve Stancer, said: “It was wonderful that five committee members came to the pub.
“Myself and Mandy would like to thank everyone who organised, supported, donated and helped with everything we all have achieved for such a wonderful and heart felt charity which we always support, and always will.
“You can organise something but without the support of all the customers and supporters it will not happen, so thank you all so much for making this happen.”
