Double celebration for school

There was a double celebration for the Lithuanian School in Spalding.

The group celebrated its second birthday recently along with moving into new premises at the Spalding Parish Church Day School.
The group was set up for the Lithuanian community in the town’s young people to come together and learn about their heritage and has proved a huge success so far.
Coun Mark Le Sage attended the event.
He said: “We have a very diverse community in South Holland and the Deepings and I’m very happy to support all the good work that goes on around us not only in St Mary’s ward but in our whole community.”
