I am sorry that the pictures I sent you turned out to be a scam (VMail, November 27). Please accept my apologies.
It was not deliberate on my part and I did say “said to be”. It came from our party website.
Without access to the Commons library, it’s impossible to check these things out thoroughly.
Anyone who tunes in to BBC Parliament will be able to see for themselves who is in the chamber and what’s being debated.
The empty chamber picture is not at all unusual and the MPs who commented on the images on the Daily Politics Show were equally misleading.
The chamber IS full when they debate their own conditions of service and empty during more important debates.
