Proposed make up of leagues is announced

The initial make up of the football leagues for next season has been revealed and its not been good news for Holbeach.
The Tigers had hoped they would be moved back to the United Counties League after a season in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League which saw them last season face five hour round trips of over 200 miles as far as the Essex coast.
But the FA have included them in the Thurlow Nunn Division One North once again by increasing the number of teams in it from 19 last year to 21.
They will get another more local game as FC Peterborough get the promotion they requested from the Peterborough and District League.
But there’s also more away trips including one near Colchester.
The only chance they could be moved back the UCL would be if other teams successfully appeal their league placing and want to be moved to the Thurlow Nunn.
There will be seven new opponents for Spalding United in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
AFC Rushden and Diamonds will be coming down from the level above while the division will include six newly promoted sides in Anstey Nomads, Coventry Sphinc, Lye Town, Quorn, Rugby Town and Walsall Wood.
Pinchbeck’s United Counties League Premier Division is decreased to 18 teams with Ashby Ivanhoe and Hucknall Town promoted replacing the relegated Heather St Johns while Lincoln United come down from step four.
