LETTERS – What have the Tories done?

What have the Tories done for us?
There has been a Conservative controlled government since 2010.
Lincolnshire County Council has a very large Conservative majority.
South Holland District Council is Conservative controlled and has elected a conservative MP since time immemorial, and Sir John Hayes has been in that role since 1997
So with local elections on the horizon let’s consider what the Tories have done.
Well, they got Brexit done, sort of.
They dealt with an unprecedented pandemic, well sort of.
They have presided over ever increasing NHS waiting lists.
They have seen a huge increase in the number of food banks and in people needing to use food banks.
There are more potholes in the roads across the country (not just South Holland).
There are severe difficulties with train services, and for Spalding, traffic hold-ups due to the level crossing barriers and their failures as well lots of water pipe failures
You cannot get an NHS dentist and have great difficulty even getting emergency treatment.
Our rivers and seas are more polluted than ever.
Last but not least the biggest economic crisis ever, where heating costs and fuel prices at sky high prices and inflation soaring above 10 per cent.
Not forgetting a new road that goes nowhere so 1000s more houses can be built on previously agricultural land.
With a Conservative government, alongside a Conservative county council, and living in what is probably the safest Conservative seat in the country, just remember when you go to vote in the upcoming election this is what the Conservatives have done.
Vote anyone except Conservative or you will just get more of the same, from the same people.
Vote anybody to create change.
